Jaguars' Beef With 'Pot Roast'
Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 01:41PM
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Terrance Knighton, who started all 16 regular-season games last year as a rookie, was nicknamed “Pot Roast” because he ordered that dish on a team flight instead of shrimp alfredo.
According to the Florida Times-Union and the Associated Press, Knighton upset the coaches by showing up overweight at camp this year -- hovering around 350 pounds -- and the blame went to his favorite food. That food is not pot roast -- it’s homemade macaroni and cheese.
